Sunrise Over Angkor Wat

Witnessing one of the world's most spectacular sunrises at the ancient temple complex.

At 4:30 AM, I joined fellow travelers in the pre-dawn darkness, making our way to Angkor Wat. As the first rays of sunlight painted the ancient stones in golden hues, I understood why this moment is considered sacred.
