My Story

My journey into the nomadic lifestyle wasn't planned. In 2019, I was a marketing manager in San Francisco, living the typical 9-to-5 life. But something was missing. I felt trapped by routine and yearned for adventure.

The turning point came during a two-week vacation to Southeast Asia. As I sat in a café in Chiang Mai, laptop open, successfully managing my work remotely, I realized that location independence wasn't just a dream—it was entirely possible.

That realization changed everything. I spent months preparing, learning about remote work tools, building up savings, and most importantly, developing the courage to take the leap. In early 2020, I left my job, sold most of my possessions, and embarked on what I thought would be a one-year adventure.

Five years later, I'm still on the road, and I've never been happier. This blog is my way of sharing the lessons I've learned, the challenges I've overcome, and the incredible experiences that have shaped me into who I am today.
